„Support to implementation of anti-discrimination legislation and Mediation in Serbia“ - "Open Forum", Valjevo

Network Committee for Human Rights in Serbia CHRIS organized a seminar on "Raising awareness about the various forms and cases of discrimination especially of vulnerable social groups, as well as the possibilities of using ADR techniques to solve practical problems.
The seminar was held on Thursday 01 July 2010th in the Grand Hotel in Valjevo, starting at 10.45h. The seminar is designed for employees in the bodies of regional and local government centers for social work, humanitarian organizations, employees of the Ministry of Interior, the judiciary, prosecution and judges, professional associates, lawyers, journalists and representatives of nongovernmental organizations.
In front of the Network Committee for Human Rights in Serbia CHRIS speaker was Sasa Aleksic CHRIS Network Coordinator's Office in Valjevo, Goran Miletic, a legal adviser to the Civil Rights Defenders and Blazo Nedic, Partners for Democratic change Serbia, member of the working group for drafting the Law on Mediation.
The seminar is organized within the project "Support to the implementation of anti-discrimination legislation and Mediation in Serbia", financed by the European Union and implemented by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy Program of the United Nations Development Programme.
