XXIII seminar of Network CHRIS

Network Committee for Human Rights in Serbia CHRIS under the project Legal Aid Network - CHRIS organized the twenty-third seminar for attorneys and lawyers of CHRIS Network. The seminar was held from 11 to 12/12/2010. in the hotel "Relax" in Kovacica.

• - „Agenda of the Network Committeess of CHRIS for the period 2011 - 2013.“

After the introductory words of welcome, the coordinator of the Network Committees CHRIS Dragan Djordjevic presented to participants the work program of the Network Committees CHRIS for the period 2011-2013 .

The topic "anti-discrimination legislation" opened Goran Miletic, legal advisor of Civil Rights Defenders. As part of his speech was a speech about the concept of discrimination, such discrimination that occurs in society, forms of discrimination in domestic laws, the Law on Prohibition of Discrimination and the Law on Prevention of Discrimination against persons with disabilities.

The second part of the seminar was devoted to the criminal-law protection in cases of discrimination. Topic of discrimination with the criminal justice aspects presented by Tanja Drobnjak, lawyer. Presented were the domestic sources of law that can be used to start the proceedings before courts in discrimination cases.
