OMBUDSMAN

Committee for human rights Negotin like partner organisation to Committee for human rights Valjevo take part in realization of the project "Open forum - public pleading for setup ombudsman institution in six municipalities in Serbia" which will be held in six cities in Serbia (Valjevo, city municipality Medijana/Niš, Negotin, Novi Pazar, Novi Sad i Vranje).

 

Activities on the project :

 

1.         Organisation of the conference for journalists.

    

2.          Splitting informative education material to citizens.

 

3.          Organizing public tribune for citizens with following topics "Ombudsman - democratic mechanism for protection and realization of the human rights on local level" "Role and authority of the ombudsman on local level" "Authority and aspect of omdusman's work on local level" "Public role and effects of omdubsman's acting on local level" "A instance of good practice in functioning of the ombudmsan in Serbia" .

Project is supported by Instite for supstainable communities (ISC) through programme "Initiative for public intercession of the organisation of civil society in Serbia" (CSAI) which support American agency for international development (USAID). .
